Gemtek Technology officially announces its membership in the "2024 TALENT, in Taiwan, Taiwan Talent Sustainability Action Alliance."
We believe that talent is the cornerstone of sustainable corporate management. We are committed to creating a diverse, equal, and inclusive workplace and attracting global talent to join Gemtek. This year, we pledge to implement six major talent sustainability actions:
Meaning and Value:
We are committed to adhering to international conventions and local regulations such as the Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) guidelines and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. We aim to establish a safe, healthy, harassment-free, discrimination-free, and gender-equal work environment.
Diversity and Inclusion:
Guided by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the RBA, we implement a corporate culture that embraces and includes diverse perspectives through education, training, and employee dialogues.
Rewards and Incentives:
We promote the "Employee Stock Ownership Trust," inviting employees to join the stock trust to share the company's long-term operational performance and enhance employee cohesion.
Physical and Mental Health:
We value the balance between work and health for our employees. We regularly conduct health checks, lectures, and sports activities, and provide nursing rooms and employee rest areas. We are committed to creating a workplace free from bullying and major workplace accidents.
Development and Growth:
We offer job-specific training for different roles, from new employee orientation to leadership development, covering all job levels. We emphasize women's career development; in 2023, the average training hours for female employees exceeded those for male employees, providing more career development opportunities for women.
Communication and Experience:
We provide diverse communication channels, allowing employees to freely give feedback or anonymously report any misconduct. We also regularly elect labor representatives to help employees solve problems.
